What can I say, Roger Waters just kicked ass. He definitely showed who was "Pink" in his amazing concert in Scranton, Pennsylvania. It was a venue I had been waiting my whole life to see, and now am pleased to say that I could die a happy man. Twenty minutes into the concert, it started pouring rain and the lights from the thunder lit up the sky. Unfortunately, the concert was originally postponed until the rain stopped. However, being the showman that he is, Roger declared that he wouldn't leave until the crowd did. And as the time passed on, chants of the "show must go on" began echoing through the crowd. No one ever left, no one would dare miss the show that began at 8 that night. At about 11pm, Roger decided to begin playing again, "rain or shine." It became an amazing concert in which the bolts of lightening help accent the brilliant lighting of the stage. From that point on, the fans were standing on their chairs just to capture a glance at the mastermind behind Pink Floyd. He went through a complete repetoire of his classics, as well as some of the songs from his solo career. Singing the whole time, I loved the concert. It was a sight to see. From the point when he started with "In the Flesh" until he finished with "Comfortably Numb," I was in ecstasy.
